The Washington Projects is a Christian hip hop group, consisting of siblings Jekob and Rachael Washington from San Diego. In their early career they were known as Souljahz and in 2002 they released their debut album, The Fault is History. The album received critical praise for its mature, in-depth lyrics and songwriting.

Souljahz were nominated for 5 Dove Awards and have won twice. Since changing their name they have released Commanders of The Resistance in November 2007 and Light Up the Dark, in 2009.

Rachael became the youngest composer/producer/songwriter in the history of Warner brothers when she was just 17. Space Time Continuum was produced by Flatline Remix. It contains remixes of tracks from their previous Washington Projects albums plus a bonus disc containing the full Light Up the Dark album which was never released to physical CD.
