Explores the importance of evangelism for the health and future of the church, particularly at a time when the majority of the British population is not looking to the church for its spiritual sustenance. The problem is that often what churches and individuals reject is a mere caricature of evangelism or a particular form of evangelism which may no longer be culturally appropriate. This book aims to be part of a much-needed discussion concerning what evangelism is and what it might look like in the 21 century. It will refer to current popular evangelism courses (Alpha and Christianity Explored) but only in passing.
