Astonishingly enough many mature Christian musicians and vocalists are often very young of age, and willing to serve the Kingdom of God.
Half A Mile is such an act, that love to play music to praise God in a pure manner: 'Acoustic music from the heart to THE LORD'. The enthusiastic members vary between 14-21 years of age. They play their own songs, but also cover songs by acts like: Sons Of Korah, The Isaacs. This album with its 8 songs, contain a fascinating mixture of English Folk/Rock, Country-influences and some Celtic hints. The singing sisters, Hanna (19) en Susanne (15) Van Gemeren sound great together, a bit of the sixties; authentic, transparent and yet distinctive. Half A Mile is unique band in the Dutch-scene, a promise for the future!
