If You Only Knew

Although Christians are quite adept at masking their pain behind smiles and handshakes, we experience pain and suffering in proportions equal to the non-Christian world. Dr. O. Sonny Acho has written If You Only Knew to awaken church leaders and the church in general to the pain of those in the pews. He challenges preachers to go beyond preaching, and parishioners to be more involved in the day-to-day struggles of those within the body. By informing leaders, Dr. Acho believes they will better train their flock to get into each other's lives, relieve pain, and help each other live more like Christ.
