The girls are looking forward to a fun-filled summer--that is until Rachel finds out that her parents have made plans for her to spend the entire summer with her cousin Ronnie in Chicago. The Double Dutch Club is saddened by the thought of Rachel having to leave for the summer. And Rachel is trying to remain excited about the Double Dutch Club winning the North Carolina 'Jump Off.' From the moment Rachel and Ronnie meet, they dislike each other, and Rachel has to find a way to get through what promises to be the most difficult summer of her life.
