A Detroit native, William Murphy III comes from a rich lineage of preachers and singers. Musically, he made his mark when he wrote and sang lead on the Shekinah Glory Ministry hit single 'Praise Is What I Do' from their Gold album of the same name. He went on to release two successful solo albums: All Day in 2005 and The Sound in 2007.
