Omtale:
Every Day Life (EDL) has fast become one of my favorite Christian hardcore bands. They've managed to work their way into my heart with their intense sound and message. This album, their second, is one of the hardest CD's I've ever heard. They absolutely drive every musical point home and stomp on it. The drum beats are just plain addictive, and the riffs and hooks just add to the mix perfectly. And their message? To say it's aggressive is an understatement. When you hear growling lyrics like 'When they try to take what's yours...push back' and 'ten dead little Indian boys', it almost makes you wonder, 'Is this really a Christian band?'. Listening to the rest of the song, though, reveals the true message they're trying to send. EDL is for real. They tackle a lot of different subjects on this one, and they even take time to give props to their roots in Long Beach with an old-school-sounding joint ('LBC'). These guys just get better with age, and, surprisingly, having a different lineup on each album doesn't hurt them a bit! Hardcore/metal fans, just come and get some of this. Now's the time to rise!
